Committees are made up of members who are willing to volunteer their time to accomoplish the goals laid out at the annual planning session. These committees will over time shape the direction of O2WA. Members are welcome to GET Involved! Please contact the chair of the following committees. . .
Committees are made up of members who are willing to volunteer their time to accomplish the goals laid out at the annual planning session. These committees will over time shape the direction of O2WA.
Conference Committee
Implement annual conference program activities, identifying and support obtaining keynote speakers and entertainment and conference program social activities.
Continuing Education Committee
Develop the education program. Identify locations and dates for training to be scheduled throughout the state.
Membership Committee
Implement identified strategies that benefit the members.
Public Outreach Committee
Promote O2WA and the industry. At various events educate the public about the septic systems in rural Oregon. i.e. Oregon State Fair.
Rules Committee
Develop legislative strategy, organize and prepare constituent groups and coalitions to advance and achieve acceptance of the O2WA members and the industry.
Scholarship Committee
The Committee members are responsible for the management of the Scholarship Program. Responsibilities include executing Program procedures, policies and requirements, advertising of the Program, and recommending scholarship winners for approval by the Board of Directors.
